2010 Elected Officials Briefing

On May 4th 2010, CAL FIRE-San Diego County Fire Authority held our second annual elected officials briefing. The objective of the meeting was to educate/refresh staff on several important topics that may impact our County. These topics included:


§ Fuel conditions for 2010/Fuels Management and Defensible Space Activities
§ Preparedness Levels
§ Activation of Military helicopters when fires occur. (DSCA) process
§ Update of the night flying agreement with San Diego Fire Rescue Department
§ Public information dissemination-receiving accurate and timely information
